Who hasn’t ever felt like having a really bad day, a little under the weather, tired after working & wanting nothing but a good-huge burger and a beer? Well, that seems to be me these days when sometimes, things are not working the way it’s supposed to be…
Anyway, the other day I was craving burger really bad and my amazing boyfriend, who happens to be the best vegan chef in this world, created the most awesome vegan burger I’ve ever had. Seriously.
For those who actually think that vegan people only eat veggies and fruits, let me tell you my friends, that that’s not true. Even though I love veggies & fruits, I think it’s really important to listen to your body: today you can be in the mood for salad, smoothie and hot tea. But… tomorrow, you might be in the mood for burger, fries, beer, cake and movies marathon. You know!???
However, I want to share with you guys the last vegan homemade burger that we make. It’s simple, yummy, cheap and without any cute animal harmed.

Whole wheat bread from Trader Joe’s
Vegan cheese (I love Follow Your Heart & Chao) This one is with FYH
Avocado (Never is enough for me)
Baby spinach (I’m not a lettuce person, but go ahead and put it in your burger if you don’t feel like eating spinach)
Vegan mayo (I love FYH or the one from Trader Joe’s)
Sauteed onions and cremini mushrooms (My favorite part of the burger)
Garlic black bean patties (Black beans, garlic, your favorite spices, you can add some sauce of your preference, and your favorite flavors as spicy or savory)
